THAWTE & VERISIGN SECURE:
When you sign up for membership, please know that
this Web site is secured by a Thawte SSL certificate as well as Verisign for all transactions.
WHO SEARCHES FOR YOU:

The Costs
The annual membership fee for actors and models is $84.98. This
includes showcasing a resume, bio, two headshots, a short video clip and
voice over track.
For all other members, there are no fees associated with having access
to the OTA Network site. The only stipulation is that you are a working
professional in the entertainment industry in either broadcast or print,
involved in the casting process.
The annual membership fee for actors, supplements the cost of sending
out material through conventional methods while centralizing their
efforts in a fully, fledged casting service benefiting everyone from
client to agent to actor. It covers the cost to keep and maintain your
information accessible to those with search capabilities attempting to
locate your profile. As well as helps you stay involved with your agents
efforts in growing your career. In doing so, logs of activity have been
created for you to view not only a submissions history but a status of
where you stand in the casting process. The membership fee covers an
entire year with no surprise fees for making changes to your headshots
or other media files that make up your profile. You are free to access
those upload capabilities anytime you like. Welcome the most powerful
tool in casting.

Choosing Multiple Selections
In specific fields you have the ability to choose more than one option. To do so click on the first selection. Hold down the APPLE key on Macs and the CTRL KEY on PCs while making other selections. When complete with a field scroll the window up and down to make sure you did not accidentally deselect your choices.
If you happen to click on a wrong selection keep the APPLE or CTRL key, held down and click again on the choice you would like to change. You will see the selection no longer highlighted. Remember, if you click on any choice without holding down the appropriate key you will have to start the process all over to select multiple choices. To clear all choices click on the "---" choice at the top of the menu without holding down any keys.
Note: holding the SHIFT KEY and clicking on multiple choices will highlight a range of selections.

Default Photo Settings
We recommend using headshots that show your facial features more predominantly, especially for your default photo.
The default photo may be selected from your personal page. The default photo is the photo that will be seen during a search.
In most cases, the people searching the database will be looking for facial features to fill their needs.
If you have a full body photo listed as your default photo, your facial features will be small.
In any case, you should choose a photo that best represents you.

Printing Headshots
To print a headshot for presentation purposes only, print buttons have been provided where needed.
Once their personal page is up you will find Print Resume and Print Headshot icons at the bottom of the page.
We recommend printing all headshots on glossy photo paper. Once printed, write their personal information on the back of their photo. Or immediately staple the resume to the headshot.
Printer settings: Under PRINT OPTIONS select GRAY TONES or BLACK, PHOTO SETTING and QUALITY over SPEED for best black and white results and COLOR PHOTO for color headshots.

Sending Your Resume & Headshot
The "Send Profile of Headshot/Resume” feature will prompt a window
that will allow you to e-mail your personal page to anyone with Internet
access. The recipient does not need to have an OTA Network account to
access your profile. It is a secure page, which gives the recipient
access to only see your resume and headshot and not make changes to your
account. The system simply provides a link to view your profile
information, sent via e-mail.
Your profile link may be reviewed before sending it out by clicking on
the option "View Forwarding Profile Link." A pop-up window will show you
the information being sent. If you have video and audio material, it
will be viewable as well on the same page.

Demo
Click on the “D” in the navigational bar at the top of the page.
This will provide you with access to the DEMO page to see how
actor/model search results are seen by Casting Directors. It is only one
small aspect of the system’s capabilities but one central to the casting
process.
Please note, that the DEMO page is not linked to the database.
Therefore, you will not be able to perform an active search

Who Gets Search Access
The OTA Network system is built for qualified active entertainment
industry professionals only. That includes professionals working in
broadcast and/or print.
All none actor/model memberships are granted access after credentials
have been verified. Only qualified casting directors, producers,
directors, agents and clients are given access to the system.
An individual’s career responsibility determines the level of OTA
accessibility, which exposes select system features and options as is
relates to their parameters of involvement in the casting process. A
perfect example, for instances, the casting directors membership level
can only perform a talent search. All other levels of accessibility are
prohibited from open search capabilities, not only protecting talent
members from unsolicited communication but also keeps the casting
director central in the process.
These accessibility levels protect the integrity of all members, while
improving the path of communication throughout the casting process. The
OTA Network mimics the current casting process without circumventing
anyone’s responsibilities while introducing greater efficiencies.

Monitor Settings:
Please use the recommended browsers and monitor settings when accessing your OTA Network account.
There is no standard protocol between browsers, which makes some browsers inconsistent with the way they handle web page programming code.
We have made a concerted effort to make the OTA pages load properly and in similar fashion for both MAC and PC.
To avert problems, please use the following guidelines below.
Searches are better viewed with your monitor optimized to the settings listed below.
By optimizing your monitor you will be able to view the information within a full screen without having to scroll left to right.
Set your monitor and make your browser window fill the screen.
To give you more viewing room, top to bottom, enter your browser PREFERENCES, select BROWSER DISPLAY and position your TOOLBAR SETTINGS
to TEXT ONLY. Also, deselect the FAVORITE navigational bar through your pull down VIEW menu.
MAC/APPLE COMPUTERS

Recommended Monitor Settings
Correct monitor settings will optimize what you see on your computer. If you do not set your monitor to the recommend settings you may experience navigational problems and limitations on what is viewable.

these dimensions as possible. Be sure that the colors are set to "millions."

Enter the APPLE, select SYSTEM PREFERENCES and click DISPLAYS. The best monitor setting is 1440x900-Desktop
or 1280x854-Laptop for your screen size. Be sure that the colors are set to "millions."
If the type is too small, go to browser (i.e. Internet Explorer) PREFERENCES click on LANGUAGE/FONTS and select 14 under FONTS AND SIZE. If you want to temporarily increase type, from the pull down menus at the top of your browser, select VIEW and TEXT ZOOM and make type 120% larger. With this process you will have to select the same setting each time you launch your browser.
